ETI Automatic Knife Release Form
Before we can ship any automatic/switchblade knife to you, you must agree to this release by copying, signing and faxing it to us after emailing us at mail@gunengine.com. Our knives can be seen at www.etistore.com. You can also scan and email it to us at that address.
By signing below I agree that it is my, the buyer’s, not ETI’s legal responsibility to comply with all state, local and federal laws regarding the purchase, sale, transport, carry or possession of automatic knives (“autos”). I agree that I am a dealer, seller, purchaser or other entity or person in compliance with all statutes involving autos, including those below. I also agree that I/we will not sell autos to the general public, except as allowed by the laws of my State, and those qualified under the law to receive them. ETI is acting on these representations in sending me my knife inventory as one of their network dealers or online purchasers.
I will also comply with 18 USC 1716(G)(2)(1-4) which summarizes as: Switchblade (automatic) knives can be shipped to civilian and armed forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the federal government ordering or procuring or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of such organizations; to supply to procurement officers or employees of the municipal government of the District of Columbia or the government of any state or territory of any county, city or other political subdivisions of a state or territory ordering, procuring or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of such government entities.
I will also comply with 5 USC 44, which provides in summary: Autos can be shipped by common carrier (NOT USPS), that sale, transportation or distribution, possession or introduction into interstate commerce of switchblade knives is authorized if it is pursuant to a contract with the armed forces or any member or employee thereof acting in the performance of his or her duty may possess switchblade knives ad may have them shipped to him and sold to him or her. The possession and transportation upon his or her person of a switchblade knife or a blade 3 inches or less is authorized to any handicapped individual who has the use of only one arm.
In signing this I agree to all these conditions and any others of local or State law and forever indemnify and hold harmless ETI and it owners, heirs and assigns forever in perpetuity, who are acting in good faith on my representations to them herein. I will fully comply with the sections above, will not sell autos to the general public, and will also become familiar with and comply with all state and local laws, regs and rules regarding autos.
